Mechanism of Action
An investigational, orally administered small molecule splicing modulator that promotes inclusion of a "poison exon" in HTT pre-mRNA, leading to reduced production of both mutant and wild-type huntingtin protein — offering a pill-based alternative to injectable or surgical huntingtin-lowering approaches. Being studied in the PIVOT-HD trial, developed in collaboration with Novartis.
